Another trip to NY

We flew to NY for the weekend to attend our friends Janet and Rob's wedding. We decided to fly this time since the drive took its toll on me the last trip. The flights were great. The last 10 minutes were a little hairy for Kayden but hey I think 10 minutes is good for an almost 2 year old. Chase slept the whole way and was a little angel! Mom and Ken picked us up and we stayed with them for the weekend. We met up with Luke's dad and Deb for dinner and then Luke and I went out to scope out the night life in OF. Boy was it crazy... I think we saw a few people we hadn't seen in a while but for the most part I was "old' and ready to go to sleep! My allergies kicked in high gear as soon as we got home and I ended up losing my voice and still haven't gotten it back yet. It is kinda cute..... Kayden keeps whispering to me!
We left the boys with Mom and Ken overnight and she said they were absolutely wonderful. Apparently Kayden never whined until we walked in the door on Sunday! Of course! I was so excited that the boys were so good for Grammy and Grandpa Ken. Luke and I had so much fun at the wedding and it was so nice to have time to talk to our friends which we haven't seen in a long time. We started the day off with a tour of the Saranac Brewery. Luke apparently forgot that we still had a long night ahead of ourselves and started to drink a little early. He was in rare form by the end of the night. The wedding was beautiful and Rob and Janet did an amazing job with all the details.
We spent Sunday trying to recover. We got a chance to go to Kirk and Meagan's house to watch some football and spend some time with Cole. Then we had dinner with Dave, Deb and Uncle Joel. We left Monday and met up with my college roommate and her new baby boy Owen! He is beautiful and Heidi looked amazing. Our flight home was good and I swear flying is the way to go. Luke on the other hand prefers to drive at night. Our next trip home will be Columbus Day weekend for our 10 year class reunion. I am still pushing to fly for that one but the debate continues... Stay tuned to find out.
